Two standout Capricornia small businesses are flying the flag for the region in Canberra, with their products featured in the Parliament Shop as part of the National Showcase.
Yeppoonie Smoothie and JB Cosmetics have been handpicked to represent Queensland in the month-long spotlight, joining other Queensland producers in promoting Australian-made goods to workers, visitors and dignitaries at Parliament House.
Federal Member for Capricornia, Michelle Landry, said the selection of two local businesses is a testament to the innovation and quality coming out of the region.
“Our region continues to punch above its weight. This is a fantastic achievement for both Yeppoonie Smoothie and JB Cosmetics and I’m incredibly proud to see their products on the national stage,” Ms Landry said.
The National Showcase highlights state-based products each month, with August dedicated to Queensland. JB Cosmetics’ hydrating KissLippy Balm and Yeppoonie Smoothie’s all-Australian East Trinity Cocoa Blend will now be available to purchase in the Parliament Shop.
