Locals with cancer cannot wait. We NEED a PET scanner in Rocky.
Over 1400 people are diagnosed with cancer every year in Central Queensland.
Currently locals have to travel hours to either Mackay or Bundaberg for scans, due to the failure of Queensland Labor to approve the PETCT scanner for Rockhampton Hospital.
All that’s required is for the Government to tick off on the approval.
Time and time again, our region is left behind by Labor and we are forced to drag them kicking and screaming to provide essential services for our community.
Join me in calling on Labor to get on with the job and APPROVE the PET Scanner at Rockhampton Hospital.
Yes, I call on the QLD Government to approve the PET Scanner for Rockhampton Hospital.
