Stronger Communities Funding Delivered

Community organisations across Capricornia have received a boost following Federal Member for Capricornia, Michelle Landry, securing $150,000 in funding which will directly support 19 organisations through Round 8 of the Stronger Communities Programme.

Hard-working Federal Member for Capricornia, Michelle Landry, said the Stronger Communities Programme delivers many social benefits to communities across Capricornia.

“The Stronger Communities Programme allows organisations to bring priority projects off the drawing board and launch it into reality.

“These investments have a significant impact in local communities, including encouraging greater community participation and social networks, improving local amenity and of course providing lasting upgrades or equipment which supports our communities in future opportunities for growth.

“I will continue to back Capricornia by delivering funding that provides opportunities to get ahead and prosper into the future,” Ms Landry said.
