Tertiary Access Payment Program – Open for Applications

Federal Member for Capricornia, Michelle Landry MP, is delighted to announce that the Tertiary Access Payment Program (TAP) is open for applications.

With the school year drawing to a close for the graduating class of 2022, now is the perfect time for these students to apply.

If successful, applicants will receive between $3000 and $5000 to assist with the cost of moving to begin tertiary study.

“The cost of moving is often a significant barrier for students to relocate for higher education.

“TAP is an important initiative, as it ensures that our children in regional and remote areas of Australia don’t get left behind.

“By removing the burden of having to cover upfront costs of a move, it levels the playing field for students located in country areas to access high-quality tertiary education.

“I encourage all students and their families to take advantage of this program.” Ms Landry said.

Students can check their eligibility for this program by going to Services Australia – Tertiary Access Payment. They can also check for other support programs which may be available to them, such as the Relocation Scholarship and Fares Allowance.
