The Nationals Listening Tour Arrives in Capricornia

Federal Member for Capricornia Michelle Landry has joined the Nationals Leader David Littleproud and the Nationals Deputy Leader Senator Perin Davey on the Central Queensland leg of the Nationals Listening Tour.

“I am delighted to welcome my colleagues, the Leader, and the Deputy Leader of the National Party to Capricornia on the Queensland National’s Listening Tour.

“We will be visiting schools and hosting a women’s breakfast to connect with and hear from the local community about the issues that concern them the most in our region.

“Regional Queenslanders have been left behind, forgotten, and had vital infrastructure funding kicked to the curb by the Federal Labor Government.

“We are here to listen to as many locals as we can about the challenges they are facing and work together towards practical and achievable solutions to address these very real issues.

“Rockhampton is the Beef Capital of Australia and together with our mighty mining and resources sector, Capricornia’s contribution to both the Australian and Queensland economy is tremendous. The National’s recognise and value this contribution and that is why my colleagues and I have prioritised meetings with and listening to everyday regional Queenslanders.

“I can assure the people in my electorate of Capricornia that we are committed to listening, learning, and actioning hands-on and realistic solutions to the issues they face and deliver the recognition they deserve,” Ms Landry said.
